Fresh Properties Popping Up on the Tayside Market
17 May 2016
THERE’S a real spring in the step of the Tayside property market.
For evidence, look no further than the volume of fresh “For Sale” notices popping up across the region – although properties are also being snapped up at an encouraging rate.
March saw the highest number of insertions charted in the pages of the Solicitors Property Guide and featuring on the popular website and within the TSPC Whitehall Crescent base for any month since 2014.
And the good news for those selling homes is that there are plenty of buyers active in the market.
Remarkably, Lynne Hill, manager at the Tayside Solicitors Property Centre, is reporting that 396 properties were inserted in March alone – representing an increase of 18.5% on March 2015.
“And that is the highest number we have recorded in one month since May 2014,” she said.
Lynne stressed that market conditions are positive this spring, for sellers and buyers alike.
Centre staff are witnessing an ever-increasing number of properties going under offer. That is good news for sellers keen to make a move themselves.
And the TSPC manager noted: “The new properties being introduced to the market are compensating for the many that are going under offer very quickly.
“The feedback we are getting from our member legal firms across the region is that there is a welcome feel good factor in the market. We are anticipating that will continue throughout the summer.”
The TSPC has long enjoyed a reputation as the natural marketplace for marketing any local property, ranging from city centre starter flats to top of the range family villas.
It provides a tried and trusted one stop shop for the Tayside area.
For decades, the TSPC has led the way – evolving constantly along the way.
The TSPC enjoys a 90% market share. Yes, nine in every 10 local homes for sale is featured in this Guide and on the new-look website, which has been enjoying positive feedback since it was rolled out at the start of the month.
